I can't imagine moving to a country where I didn't know the language, but luckily kids usually pick that up quickly. But what guts it must have taken for teens to even start a Kibbutz. How long did you live on it, may I ask?Alexhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15988251415347075888noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3966330143385469554.post-90847029886439539892013-02-02T07:59:46.713-05:002013-02-02T07:59:46.713-05:00Fascinating book.

We were talking about the Kibbutz we grew up in and the financial difficulties it's having. We then realized that the Kibbutz was started by teenagers, of course they didn't plan on taking care of the elderly because they never knew old people until they became old themselves.

http://www.ManOfLaBook.comMan of la Bookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11561603511163982556noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3966330143385469554.post-39706387423126115002013-01-31T19:47:35.195-05:002013-01-31T19:47:35.195-05:00This book sound like one I will love. She has told me about moving to a new country and not speaking the language and she has relatives who were captured by the Nazis. Thanks so much for the great review and for letting me know about this one. I am glad to hear this is a heartwarming story. :)Stephanie@Fairday's Bloghttp://thesecretdmsfilesoffairdaymorrow.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.com
